Founded in 1979, Killington Medical Clinic provides acute and emergency medical services for visitors to and residents of Killington and the surrounding area. The clinic is staffed by experienced emergency medicine physician, Jim Russell, MD , as well as consulting specialists from Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic (VOC) in Rutland.

Dr. Russell has extensive experience treating sports-related injuries, including but not limited to lacerations, torn ACLs, dislocated shoulders and fractures. The clinic offers full x-ray facilities and a casting room to aid in diagnosis and treatment of common ski and snowboard injuries.

When emergency intervention is necessary, the clinicâs physicians cooperate with their VOC colleagues and the staff of Rutland Regional Medical Center to arrange immediate transportation and treatment.

The clinic's base lodge location "within the Killington resort area" gives patients immediate access to medical diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation right on the mountain, seven days a week, during ski season. Killington Medical Clinic is an affiliate of Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic and Rutland Regional Health Services.
